As part of a project, we replicated an agent-based workflow using Dagger – a modern open-source platform for orchestrating CI/CD workflows through programmable pipelines.
The goal was to improve the interaction between automation, containerization, and Infrastructure-as-Code-oriented approaches. Specifically, an agent was developed that uses Go and the Dagger SDK to execute and manage automated container workflows.

Programming of an agent that processes workflows and executes them via containers
Use of the Go SDK from Dagger to control build and deployment processes
Setup of a GitHub repository for version control and collaboration
Dagger allows complex CI/CD processes to be implemented as reusable, code-defined building blocks – independent of the target environment. Especially in combination with modern automation concepts, it offers new opportunities for speed, transparency, and scalability.
We are currently evaluating the productive use of the Dagger approach in real customer environments – especially in the areas of DevSecOps, microservices, and resilient infrastructure. Integration with observability tools such as Prometheus or Grafana is also planned.
If you want to experience modern DevOps strategies, efficient workflows, and flexible automation directly in code, you should definitely take a look at Dagger – or get in touch with us directly!
